Sound like something out of a science fiction movie, where if one alien finds out something, then they all know.
Could it be the same for us, not in the form of consciousness, but in the form of knowledge.
If we want to know anything about the world we live in or a description of advanced mathematics then we “Google it” sites like www.wikipedia.com” provide a wealth of information for us.
Personally I use the linked consciousness to gain insight on almost anything, I like to think that I am similar to the pretender.
Quoted from http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115320/
“A specially gifted man, with the ability to instantly master any skill, escapes from a secret agency and travels the country taking on a different jobs and helping strangers.”
Why not use this to our ability, so far I have learned so many skills they are to vast to mention. With just a high school diploma I have learned to program, create websites, Photoshop, know my way around a car engine, install satellite TV, Bed room cupboards how a LCD TV works, how to turn a normal TV into a smart TV, connect almost anything to a Wi-Fi network.
If i wanted to know how to lets say fix a track pad on a Blackberry I could learn that too
Ok lets not fail to mention there is a lot of bullshit on the web, where you can completely make an asshole of your self finding a site that some crack pot has created, feeding the wrong info. but a bit of common sense has to be used.
Have you had to settle an argument using Google ?
We have become publishers, info addicts, we post our private info on sites like Facebook. we watch all funny videos on YouTube or post parts of our lives on the net, does that not mean that if everybody online wanted to know
I must be honest I am getting a little agitated by the amount of songs that have been covered. If the song is left in its original form then that’s ok, such as one direction doing Blondie’s song “one way or another”
Kept in its original format it could be as good if not better that the classic version
What I do have a problem is when you take a good song and add in some bull shit rap. add in rapping about HO’S and bitches. and to add in a few swear words, is supposed to add some “flavour to it”
In all fairness the writer of the lyrics does deserve to make royalties on the song, but there should be an agreement that the song does not change. for example I am a Depeche Mode Fan, so I’ll have no problem with a band such as fun doing covers on that. Boyzone, and westlife did do justice to the songs they covered.
Is this way of saying that there is no other form of music than Rap, Hipop?
I don’t really want to hear songs that insult woman calling them HO’S, Bitches and how they are going to screw them. What worse that the woman who sing this rubbish are scantily clad and mostly going on about being shagged.
Given that this all this rubbish has on all the main stream radio stations, I have now switched over to a radio station where they play classics.
In Johannesburg the radio station 947 Highveld stereo, was in the past a nice classic radio station, how ever was bought over by a large media corporation. Initially they kept to the format of the previous station, however have gone main stream. Which in essences was a good thing as the breakfast show was brilliantly handled by a very experiences and funny host. How ever the have managed to get rid of most of the good DJ’s so we now have a squeaky voiced DJ on the breakfast show, who thinks that pranking people and really getting them angry is good fun. Thus causing me to move over to another station. where they still think that artists such as Billy Joel, Blondie, Michael Jackson and quite a few the catch phrase the use is the hits from the 80’s, 90’s and now. so we have quite an array of good music. the playlist does not include people singing about shagging or being shagged.
This is a post Bill Cosby posted on Facebook….
“Bill Cosby “I’m 83 and Tired”
I’ve worked hard since I was 17. Except for when I was doing my National Service, I put in 50-hour weeks, and didn’t call in sick in nearly 40 years. I made a reasonable salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, it looks as though retirement was a bad idea, and I’m tired. Very tired.
I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.
I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honor”; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers”; Muslims burning schools for girls; Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Shari’a law tells them to.
I’m tired of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques and Madrasa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia , New Zealand , UK, America and Canada , while no one from these countries are allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other Arab country to teach love and tolerance..
I’m tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate.
I’m tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses or stick a needle in their arm while they tried to fight it off?
I’m tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.
I’m really tired of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and actions. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.
I’m also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens and early 20’s be-deck themselves in tattoos and face studs, thereby making themselves unemployable and claiming money from the Government.
Yes, I’m damn tired. But I’m also glad to be 83.. Because, mostly, I’m not going to have to see the world these people are making. I’m just sorry for my granddaughter and their children. Thank God I’m on the way out and not on the way in. There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference.
“I’m 83 and I’m tired. If you don’t agree you are part of the problem!”
